Founded in 1992, the firm has a staff of experienced engineers and constructors
who are “proactive?problem solvers. We stand ready to provide expedient recommendations
to construction plans, construction means and methods and unforeseen field conditions.
SDR provides expertise for buildings and bridges, segmental concrete bridge construction,
bridge repair and rehabilitation, load-rating analyses, structures plan preparation,
specification development, construction engineering, value engineering and constructability
reviews.
Qualifications
SDR is prequalified with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) in Work
Group 4.1 (Minor Bridge Design), Group 4.2 (Major Bridge Design) and Group 10 (Construction
Engineering Inspection) and is also prequalified with other State agencies. The
firm has performed services for FDOT, Georgia DOT, Texas DOT and others.
Personnel
SDR personnel have extensive experience in structures design, rehabilitation and
construction engineering throughout the U.S. The firm offers a wide variety of engineering
services including: design, failure investigation, structures capacity evaluation,
rehabilitation and strengthening. A major focus of the firm has been in providing
design/analysis support to the construction industry. Our solid reputation in the
area of structural rehabilitation and strengthening underlies the work of our talented
design engineers and construction personnel.
