Hatem "Tem" Seliem, PhD, PE, PMP

Dr.Seliem has over 15 years of experience in structural engineering with special emphasis on the behavior and design of reinforced and prestressed concrete structures and bridges. In addition, he has extensive experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of structure and bridges. Further, he has a vast experience in retrofitting and rehabilitation of concrete structures and bridges using Advanced Composite Materials (also known as Fiber Reinforced Polymers). Due to the knowledge, experience, and outstanding work of Dr. Seliem, he was selected as a member of the Standing Committee of Structural Fiber Reinforced Polymer (Committee AFF 80 related to bridges) of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) and he is also a nominated council member of the International Institute of FRP in Construction (IIFC). Further, Dr. Seliem is the recipient of the 2014 ACI Chester Paul Siess Award for Excellence in Structural Research.
