Amir BotrosĀ has more than 14 years of experience in the field of civil engineering with special emphasis on design of reinforced and prestressed concrete structures and bridges. Dr. Botros has extensive experience in load rating and analysis of different types of bridges as well as Computer-Aided Design (CAD). As task manager and office director he leads a group of young professionals on major design, rehabilitation, and load rating work packages.

He has been a member of the precast prestressed concrete institute (PCI) for many years and has participated in many of the PCI research projects. Further, Dr. Botros is the recipient of the 2017 Martin P. Korn and George Nasser PCI Journal Awards. He also received the 2018 ASCE T.Y. Lin award for his outstanding research on the dapped ends of prestressed concrete thin stemmed members.
